Where is the schedule C Returns and Allowances located now?

Hello all,

I'm using TT Premium and the schedule C Returns and Allowances section has been moved from where it was located for many years. After an hour on the phone w/a TT cust service rep, we were still unable to locate where I would enter that information. Any help would be appreciated. Ty!

Your profile tag shows TurboTax Business and you stated you are using TurboTax Premium [sic] which is actually called TurboTax Premier.

Regardless, if you are using the online version of Premier, you need to upgrade to Self-Employed in order to input information that relates to Schedule C. If you are using a desktop (installed) version of Premier, you may have to use Forms Mode for this entry.

@Anonymous_ Thanks for responding! I selected 'business' bcuz Premium wasn't one of the options. The CSR and I looked for the option to upgrade but the website only showed us Free, Delux and Premium.  How can I upgrade to business?  Oddly enough, that is the version that I've been using for years. Not sure how I even ended up in this premium version.

I will tell you that the description for the Premium version reads (below) which is why we assumed that it was the new business version?

You can upgrade to Self-Employed if you are using online Premier from within the pgoram.

If you are using desktop Premier, you can use Forms Mode for Schedule C input.

Hi again,

Okay so when I logged out of the TT online and selected 'self-employed' it took me right back to Premium.  When I select the Sched C 'profit or loss from business' from the 'topic search' section it takes me right back to schedule c (online) section that is missing the section previously titled ' Rebates and refunds, includes any income returned to customers.  That is what I'm looking for.  Any idea of where it is now located?

The description for the Premium version that I'm using includes: Guidance for independent contractors, freelancers, and small business owners.

Update/follow up:  So after speaking to and sharing screens with two TT CSR for over two hrs, literally right before our eyes the missing section was suddenly now available in the online Sched C form.  We had gone over and over, refreshed, logged out, tax tools, topic searched a zillion times and FINALLY, the missing line item was loaded into the system. lol smh  We were both like 'what in the world?!'  LOL
