When I review my taxes I'm prompted to check schedule 8812 entry. I do not quality nor did I enter a child tax credit. Can I file with out 'fixing' this?

You can try deleting the form from your return. Please follow the instructions below:

1. Open your tax return.
2. Click on Tools.
3. Click on Delete a Form. 
4. Scroll down to your state forms and look for Form 8812 and click Delete.
