When filing two MFS returns for different states, should I use the Schedule D that is auto generated for each state, or the Sched D from our federal MFJ return?

A Schedule D is generated as part of each state return which is based off of the "mock" federal returns I made.  Should I switch those out with the MFJ Schedule D that I filed with the feds before filing each state?  Thanks

In most cases, the state requests the Schedule D from the mock return.  You do not need to change it with the one you actually filed.
