W-2 and 1099-NEC, but NEC amount is not showing up in Other Common Income section

I'm trying to help my daughter with her taxes.  She has a w-2 from her employer and a 1099-NEC from a different source.  The NEC is $2,800.  We are considering this a small side business.  We answered the NEC question "yes" and entered the info in the Other Common Income section.  We have also completed the Business items sections.  Now, at the end of the Wages & Income section on turbotax,  the income from 1099-NEC shows zero in the Other Common Income section, and the Business Income and Expenses (Sch C) shows the $2,800 (there were no expenses).   Is this correct?   The column showing 2023 numbers has the 1099-NEC amount in both the Common Income section and the Business Items section.

Yes, that is correct.  The income from a small business should show up on Schedule C, not in other common income.

Where the income shows up on the forms is what is important.  The summary screens can change how things show up from year to year.
