I had not issue last year, but I do see that there has been a little bit of a format change on the Part 1 Schedule A of the CT 1065 form.
The Forms Availability Table for TurboTax Business indicates the forms for Connecticut partnerships will be released for e-filing on February 28, 2025. It's possible the experience you have posted is related to the forms not being finalized.
After the release date, allow TurboTax to update when you first open the program. Then work through the state interview again.
I am having the same issue (March 1). CT forms not working properly.
I am having the same issue on March 7th, Fed K-1 income not passing through at all to CT K-1.
I was told that the form will not be ready for filing until March 21 — which is after the deadline. I was told to file an extension. Why should I file an extension when I paid $180 for software that is capable of filing my taxes on time.
You may wish to go to the State Taxes tab and work through the state interview again. If that doesn't resolve the issue, you may need to remove the state return (File >> Remove State Return) and re-enter the State specific information under State Taxes >> Connecticut Partnership. Note this action resets the state interview but does NOT remove the Connecticut module from your TurboTax installation.
We are not able to reproduce this experience after preparing a federal Form 1065 return and working through the Connecticut state section. Both CT-1065 and all CT Schedules K-1 are populated as expected.
Followed your instructions and still not working Message received Tax Year 2024 transmissions are not available. I spoke with phone support on Friday and they relayed a message that a software update was required and that I needed request an extension. Very frustrated I have been using turbotax for years with no issues. Please advise
I believe that the form might not be due until April 15. This taxpayer alert says: "Given the delay by the Department of Revenue Services (“DRS”) in making these forms available to software companies, DRS will agree to forgo otherwise applicable penalty and interest provided taxpayers file the applicable return(s) and pay the associated liabilities in full by April 15, 2025."
my Connect shows my filing is due by April 15 (rather than March 15).

Yes. Having the same issues. Have been on the phone with TT "support" for hours this past week. Even paid TT an extra $50 to get an "expert" to help. All have been very supportive but problem not solved. Issue seems to be with CT DRS not communicating with software providers (TT and others?) on updated forms, including the new Form CT-PET, which doesn't seem to show up in any TT forms selection.
CT DRS had a press release on 2/21/25 noting that PE Tax filing, including delaying PE filings till April 15, including extensions without penalty: https://portal.ct.gov/-/media/drs/publications/tssb/2025/tssb-2025-5.pdf?rev=4cbb46e0d126469f8d286c2349183201&hash=1B930B6B3A564660181D9C36D8412240
Maybe they know they have an issue?
There is clearly an issue between CT DRS and tax software providers... don't know if other providers (H&R Block, etc.) are having the same issues?
Been a frustrating week. Hope this get's resolved soon... any help or guidance would be appreciated.
Was hoping for an update on March 21, but still having issues with the CT forms. Anyone having any luck yet?
Last I checked a few days ago, CT 1065 still doesn't work!
It worked for me last night. I had to check for updates first.
As of 4:30PM EST Mar 22nd, even with the update as of today, the CT-K1 forms are entirely missing; they are not even listed in Forms as an option in my business Turbotax.
I find it interesting that when I go to the State section, the description of the state return offered is "Connecticut Pass-Through Entity Tax Return", as contrasted to "CT-1065/CT1120si". There is a return from CT this year that is now completely optional called "CT-PET" which stands for Connecticut Pass-Through Entity Tax", and I'm wondering if there are 2 CT return types available Turbo Tax selected the wrong one for me (and does not allow me the option to change it and Intuit doesn't seem to list an alternative.)
Are some people actually now seeing a CT-K1 (not the federal K1!) listed in their forms and able to display and edit them? Any suggestions? I called Turbotax support and got connected relatively quickly (within 5 min), but the voice quality of the connection was clipped, and we were unexpectedly disconnected after only 3 minutes.
I see the CT-K1 in my forms list and the Federal Data populates the CT-1165/CT-1120S form.
My issue now is that I need to complete the CT-PET form and TurboTax does not allow the "Pass Through Entity Tax Election" box to be checked on the CT-1165/CT-1120S form and there is a note below this box that states "Pass-Through Entity Tax is NOT Supported in the Current Product".
Is TurboTax planning to add support for the CT-PET tax in the coming days or is it basically punting on the new CT-PET form?!
More info: CT changed its forms this year and "Form CT-1065/CT-1120SI has been changed from the Connecticut Pass-Through Entity Tax Return to the Connecticut Composite Income Tax Return."
TurboTax business does not yet support the new "Connecticut Composite Income Tax Return" form nor does it support Pass Through Entity Tax or form CT-PET.
I was chatting with support today and was not given an answer on whether they will support the new CT forms prior to the new April 15 filing deadline. The advice I was given was to file the Federal Return and then file the CT return directly with myconnectCT.
Not great.
Despite State update/download today, as of 3/24 6:46 PM EDT, CT- PET not available on TurboTax. This crazy... is it TT or the State of CT?
I paid $55 for the State download and another $50 for an "TT expert " who did basically nothing to navigate ... really? When are these guys going to get their act together? Refund?
It's primarily caused by the State of CT redesigning its forms and having a delayed rollout (the new CT forms are overly complex). That being said, TT needs to provide clear guidance on if and when they will be supporting the new CT-PET form. Nobody I have talked to at TT has any idea of what I am talking about when I ask about the CT-PET form.
I contacted CT DRS both via phone and messaging service on myconneCT...reps on the phone had no clue what I was speaking about. The reply I got on the messaging service was:
Received: Tuesday, Mar 25, 2025 4:04:53 PM
Subject: RE: Having trouble getting the 2024 Pass-through entity tax forms from my tax prep software provider
Please contact TurboTax for questions relating to their third party software.
DRS offers the option to electronically file 2024 Form CT-PET for free through myconneCT.
Sincerely,
CT DRS
Guess we'll have wait for TT to sort it out or file via myconneCT... maybe get a refund from TT for state download?
The data from my Federal 1065 is still not populating my CT forms. Has this issue been corrected?
