Screen "Enter Box 20 Info" versus screen "Enter Box 20 Other Information Amounts"

My ET K-1 has the following entries for Line 20:

20 Other Information

  • A Investment Income

  • N Business Interest Expense - Already Deducted on Line 1

  • V Total Unrelated Business Taxable Income Included on Schedule K-1, Page 1

  • Z Section 199A PTP Income Included on Schedule K-1, Lines 1 and 2

  • AB Section 751 Gain (Loss)

  • AE Excess Taxable Income

  • AG Gross Receipts for Section 448(c)

  • ZZ1 UBTI Included on Schedule K-1, Lines 1 and 2

  • ZZ2 UBTI from Debt-Financed Dividend and Interest Income Included on Schedule K-1, Page 1

  • ZZ3 Depreciation Adjustment for Non-Conforming States

  • ZZ4 Section 1231 Gain (Loss) Adjustment for Non-Conforming States

  • ZZ5 AMT Depreciation Adjustment for Non-Conforming States

  • ZZ6 Entity-Level State Income Tax Included in Box 1

  • ZZ7 Gross Income from Operations

  • ZZ8 Partner Basis Items and Remedial Items for Section 163(j)

  • ZZ9 Partnership Interest Disposition Gain/(Loss) Adjustment for Section 163(j)

  • ZZ10 Nontaxable Adjustment to Capital Account

  • ZZ11 E&P Adjustment Due to Depreciation and Asset Sales

I entered these in the "Enter Box 20 Info" screen using the appropriate codes. For ZZ1...ZZ10, I selected code ZZ, then double-clicked the Amount field to bring up a pop-up, where I entered the description (e.g., for ZZ1, "UBTI Included on Schedule K-1, Lines 1 and 2") in the Description field and 3,001.00 in the Amount field.

After completing the "Enter Box 20 Info" screen, TurboTax opened the "Enter Box 20 Other Information Amounts" screen, which has two columns: Description and Amount.

What should I enter on this screen? Should I transfer the information for ZZ1...ZZ10 I entered in the previous screen to this one?

Thank you so much!

Yes. The follow up page is asking for details on Code ZZ. However, be aware that TurboTax doesn't use these entries on your return.

Certain items (generally labeled "Other") on your K-1 may need to be entered in several different places in TurboTax. Consult the instructions that were included with your Schedule K-1. These should tell you the form and line where the amount should be entered.

Then, follow these instructions:

Enter the form number or name of item in the search field in the toolbar at the top of this screen. You will then be presented with a list of topics that address this form. Select the topic that best matches the description given in your K-1, and then let TurboTax guide you the rest of the way.

Why doesn't TurboTax ask you for a description of the ZZ code immediately when you enter it? The second screen where you have to enter the information a second time is very confusing.
