Schedule C shows a Section 465(d) carryover offset that should not be there. How can I remove it?

I've never seen this before. This is just a small one-person business and my income is nowhere near this much.

That refers to not being able to deduct a loss on a business venture to the extent you don't have money "at risk" in the business. In other words, you can't deduct more in losses from your investment in a business than what you put into it.

If that doesn't apply to you, edit your business entries and on the screen that says Your Business, use the Special Situations option under Final Details to bring up the screen that says Do you have any of these other business situations? If the box is checked that says you have at risk losses carried over from the previous year, proceed to the next screen where you can enter $0 for the carryover amount:

I neglected to mention that I am using TT Deluxe, not Home and Business. I don't have Your Business or Final Details in my version (at least, I cannot find them). The issue seems to have arisen last year when I checked "Some of my investment is at risk," instead of "All..." Checking "All..." this year fixes the results, but does not remove the large negative carryover offset. This I resolved by entering an equal positive number on the next line to reach a zero sum. If anyone can offer a better way to resolve this, I look forward to seeing it. Thanks, everyone!
