Schedule C Hotel & Food Expenses

My daughter started a construction business in the latter half of 2018. Since their first project was not local, but was quite a distance from her home, they had to take the employees with them and subsequently paid for their hotel rooms and meals while the project was going on. Can these expenses be deducted on Schedule C? Thanks in advance.
