Preparing W-2 and invalid SSN message

While preparing a W-2, I'm receiving an invalid SSN message, when the SSN is correct.  What do I do?

Delete the W-2 and then re-enter the W-2 manually.  Do not import.

I need to delete my w-2 and put the right one with the correct social security number
