I am using TurboTax Home and Business on a Mac and need to prepare 1099 for a few contrators. It seems that the Mac version doesn't support this (?), which I didn't find out until after purchasing since it wasn't noted prior - is there a way to get this done?
Steve
Yes, there is a way to complete 1099's needed for your contractors through a program named Quick Forms. Quick Employer Forms helps small business owners like yourself quickly and easily create W-2, 1099-NEC, 1099-MISC, 1099-INT, and 1099-DIV forms. It asks you easy questions, and then completes the forms for you automatically. It even e-files the forms for you.

Thanks, Lena, for your reply. I actually kept hunting and was able to locate just what you sent to me shortly before you replied! 🙂 I think I got it all handled.
Would you happen to know, since this wasn't done in direct coordination with my actual TurboTax return file, how I would enter that total amount paid out represented on the 1099s into my business return... would it just entered under contract labor?
Thanks again!!
