Is the K-1 for a partnership or an S-corporation?

The amount you see on Box 12, Coded R represents the amount of Employer's W-2 wages which flows to Form 8903 Domestic Production Activities Deduction.

Normally there are other amounts related to Domestic Production Activities.  To enter these amounts, you need to indicate you have amounts reported in Box 12. Then you will enter the code and the dollar amount.  (See the screenshot below)

That means you have Box 12 Code Q information in a statement.  Once you enter code Q, on the next page you will be asked for the amount.
You probably also have information for Code P.  Once you enter Code P you will get a page titled Enter Code P Detail.
You will be asked for various information regarding oil related income & expense.  (Click on "If you have Oil Related income and expenses learn more here")
