My wife and I own a multi level marketing business but the 1099misc is in her name. How can we split the business to get the best return?

do I need another 1099misc for me?

You can record that respective income on your individual Schedule C's even if it was in your wife's name, as long as you earned it.

You do not need another 1099-MISC. You would just proportion that amount accordingly when entering your income for the Schedule C.
