My child has unearned income of 9733 that I entered as a K1.

The income is showing up as dividend and interest income but the program (downloaded) shows no unearned income tax.  I believe this is wrong but I have no way to enter it.  Help?

See the filing requirements, below:

You can look at your return:

1.       Go to Tax Tools on the left-hand side.

2.       Go to Tools.

3.       Go to View Tax Summary.

4.       Click Preview my 1040 from the left-hand side.

in no way did this answer my question.  there is 742 in interest income and 8991 in qualified dividends from a k1 from a trust.  this unearned income should cause the "kiddie tax" but the program is not working.
