Medicaid waiver notice 2014-7, for Q11it is entering data on 1040 1d and schedule 1- 8, shouldn't it just enter a negative value on sch 1-8?

It should deduct the amount from w2 that the employer will not correct

After entering your W-2, did you exclude your Medicaid Waiver Payments in the 'Miscellaneous Income' section?  If so, this will back it out on Schedule 1 under Line 8s as Nontaxable amount of Medicaid waiver payments included on Form 1040, line 1a or 1d.

If not, here's the steps to reporting Medicaid Waiver Payments.

Thank you, after placing the question i figure it out. you need to select the last option under the 1099a other income option, i had entered on where the help said to enter on the first option (but that would have been if we had not received a w2).

It is now showing only on the schedule 1 - 8  but with my typed text instead of using the quicken field for medicaid waiver.
