Last year I filed as self-employed. This year all my earnings were as a TV show extra, and I was payed as an employee. Should I still file as self-employed?

No.  If you had no income or expenses for your self-employed business it is not necessary to file a Schedule C.

If you did have expenses you can still claim them on a Schedule C even though you had no income. The business loss can offset income in other areas of your return.
