Is processing of 1099-PATR data incomplete in 2022 TurboTax Business

Received a form 1099-PATR from a 'specified agricultural cooperative' (box 13 checked).  TurboTax 2022 business does not seem to currently have a screen for directly entering the 1099-PATR data (like other 1099 forms.)  When look up 1099-PATR in HELP, in recommends searching for 1099-PATR then clicking the Jump to link (which doesn't currently exist in HELP).

Can enter the information for crop sales directly as part of income, but on obvious way to enter the Section 199A(g) deduction (Box 6 on 1099-PATR) or generate the 'Statement C - QBI Pass-Through Entity Reporting' form needed when distribute Schedule K-1 (Form 1065) documents to the LLC members.

Is this functionality scheduled for inclusion in future TurboTax 2022 Business program updates?

Since QBI (Section 199A(g)) is reported at the partner level, you will need to add this manually using Forms Mode.

  1. Click the Forms icon in the TurboTax Business header.
  2. Look for Schedule F (name of farm) in the left column and click on "199A Act Wks" under that heading. The worksheet will open in the large window.
  3. Scroll down to Statement C Information under Line 9.
  4. Enter the amount from Form 1099-PATR Box 6 in the box on the line "Section 1099A(g) deduction from 1099-PATR."
  5. Your entry on the worksheet will generate Statement C under each partner's Schedule K-1. Click on each statement in the left column to confirm the allocation is correct.
  6. Click on Step-by-Step in the header to go back to the return.

Yes, you can enter the information from Form 1099-PATR in TurboTax Business.

First, be sure you have added your farming business to your Business Info under About Your Business. Once you have completed those entries, the Farming section will be active under Federal Taxes.

Click Start beside the name of your farming business. Under Farm Income, click Start beside Co-ops, Ag Programs. Enter the information from Form 1099-PATR on the page titled "Any Income from Distributions or Payments?"

Thanks, but already preformed those steps.  On the 'Any Income from Distributions or Payments' page there are two rows 'Cooperative Distributions' and 'Agricultural programs' with two boxes to fill in each row, 'Total' and Taxable portion'.  There is nowhere on that page to enter the 'Section 199a(g) deduction' (box 6 on 1099-PATR) nor any checkbox to indicate there is more information that needs to be entered from the 1099-PATR.

Forgot to mention:  When using TurboTax Deluxe for a separate (individual vs LLC) farm entity, there is a "Qualified payments from cooperative" screen that does include an entry box for 'Domestic production activity (199A(g)) deduction (line 6) from coops with tax year beginning after December 31, 2017' where that information can be entered.  Seems like there should be a similar screen/entry box for TT Business.

Thanks, that seems to have worked.  Even if had checked forms view before, not sure would have found that spot without your specific directions.
