Hello
I received the same error. I honestly believe it is on Turbo Tax’s end. They need to fine-tune their software. Once many others get the same error- I think they will fix it. I hope they look into it ASAP. The forms are normally in place. Therefore, we input our figures and the software normally calculate those numbers and add the lines correctly. It seems as if a few things are off.
I decided to remove my casualties and thefts (I had hurricane damage) for now. It seems to have fixed it. Since I really am qualified for this disaster loss I guess i'll be filing an amended return after they get this bug fixed. It's worth a good $900 for me to get it corrected. It's really irritating.
@kari.parfait - I did the exact thing. I removed the disaster loss. If you re-submit, and it’s accepted- only if you think of it- can you repost? Thanks in advance
I did resubmit last night without my disaster loss and it was accepted. Going to wait for it to process and then file an amendment at a later date. May not be the best advice but it's what I'm going with.
I'm in the same situation. I lost some photography equipment during Hurricane Harvey. It wont let me efile it. I'll wait till friday when it says that it should be fix and try to file it again. Glad that I'm not the only one having this issue.
@presoquin - It's good to know that we are not alone..... Best wishes-
I'm having the same issue, thanks for the info....we had hurricane damage but I'll amend later and try the above suggestion...glad to know we are not alone wiuth this problem .
