100%  The grantor trust rules allow grantors to control the assets and investments in a trust. The income it generates is taxed to the grantor at his or her tax rate rather than to the trust itself,

Thanks TerriP

When I do this, the type of trust shows up as complex in 1041 even though I have designated it as a grantor trust. When I change to type to Grantor in 1041 it gives me an error message and shows dividends earned in 1041

What can I do please
