If I have units in an MLP that I work for. On my K1 there is a loss. Since I work there is my interest non-passive or passive?

Can I claim an income loss for an MLP that I work for and am a unitholder?

As a unitholder you're a limited partner and the loss is passive. Even if you work for the MLP your loss as a result from having units is still passive.
