IA S Corporation efiling

Why is the IA S corporation return that I am trying to file says it cannot be efiled?  It looks like any forms that I have are supported by TT but it won't efile my State return.

In your situation, you should first clear the cache and cookies It handles many issues that seem nonsensical on a regular basis.  First close your return and follow the steps below to see that you need to do depending on the version of TurboTax you are using:

  • If using TurboTax Online: Clear your cache and cookies. See this FAQ, for your particular browser.
    • You can also try using a different browser
  • If using TurboTax Desktop: Please see this FAQ.
    • Make sure you have ran all the updates

TT Business says it does not support the efile format required by the Iowa Dept of Revenue. How is this possible? Is TT going to make efile available with Iowa Dept of Revenue efile format requirements? Iowa says it requires "Modernized eFile (MeF)"

I also used the desktop version of TurboTax Business for Windows. To clarify, it was an error message in TT Business for Windows that alerted me to this problem. TT Business would not attempt to efile, but only gave an error message. I cannot file by paper because my business has more than $250000 in gross receipts.

This is a big problem.  The MeF format has been in existence since  2005.  This should not be a problem.  Please advise.  If this cannot be done we will all have to drop TT and purchase something else
