I want to file taxes with part of my income as a sole proprietor and part as an owner of an two member LLC. I am running a MAC. What app do I need? Does online work

In previous years, I use TurboTax for Home & Business as a sole proprietor

For the Partnership, you would need to use TurboTax for Business (not Self Employed or Home and Business).  Unfortunately, TT for Business is only available as a CD or Download and only for Windows.  I'm not a Mac expert but I've been told there are ways you can use this on a Mac by simulating Windows.  It is not, however, necessary to use the TurboTax version. You've basically looking for business software that will let you file a Partnership return , which produces a k-1 form for each partner.

The k-1 is what you need to enter into your personal return, as will the other partner.  If you use the Online version for your personal return, you would need Premier to enter the k-1, but Self-Employed could do both the k-1 and the sole proprietorship.  In the CD/Download personal version, you could use deluxe for both the k-1 and your sole proprietorship.
