I want to ensure that my self-employment deductions have been placed on Schedule C within TurboTax Online. How can I view my Schedule C so as to make sure?

This is the first time I'm using the Online version of TurboTax (as my computer is too old for Download). Previously I could always view forms before filing so as to ensure that items were properly placed on forms. But in this Online version I've yet to find a way to proof the forms that are supposedly being filled out by my answers. I don't want to file my forms only to discover later that any number of Schedule C deductions erroneously ended up on Schedule A and then were unused due to the $10,000 floor.

The best way to do this is to preview the return before filing.  To see the forms in in TurboTax Online you can print the tax forms to pdf to view. If you are still working on your return and have already paid, per:  Can I print a copy of my return in TurboTax Online before I file it?:

  1. "Open or continue your return
  2. Enter your return by selecting Continue or Start on Tax Home.
  3. Select Tax Tools from the menu, then Print Center (on mobile devices, tap in the upper left corner to expand the menu).
  4. Select Print, save, or preview this year's return, and follow any additional instructions.
Once your PDF opens in Adobe Acrobat Reader, select the printer icon.
  5. Make any adjustments in the Print window and then select Print."
