I no longer have "inventory" for my "other" business. It is now for personal use. All orders are purchased online thru the company website. How do I document this?

Yes, you can document that in the inventory section of your self-employment schedule. 

 

Here's how to find that:

 

 

  1. Sign in to your TurboTax account.
  2. Select Wages & Income.
  3. Select Edit/ Add to the right of Self-employment income and expenses.
  4. Select Edit under your business entry.
  5. Select Edit to the right of Inventory.
  6. Answer Yes, and Continue.
  7. On the screen Let's get the value of inventory for your XXX work, enter $0 for ending inventory. 
  8. Select Continue.
  9. To the right of Purchases Withdrawn for Personal Use, enter the value of the inventory you converted to personal use.
  10. Enter any other inventory costs you had, then select Continue.
  11. The next screen will show your Total Sales, Cost of Goods Sold, and Gross Profit.
