Googling "Chevron EIN" brings up multiple hits with 94-0890210. However, if you sold Chevron stock the relevant EIN would appear on your 1099-B. If you received a dividend from Chevron, the relevant EIN is on your 1099-DIV. Neither of those are necessarily the number above.
