I keep being asked to fill out Schedule C. I do not need to do this. How do I delete?

Use Schedule C (Form 1040 or 1040-SR) to report income or loss from a business you operated or a profession you practiced as a sole proprietor. An activity qualifies as a business if:

• Your primary purpose for engaging in the activity is for income or profit.
• You are involved in the activity with continuity and regularity.irs.gov

If that does not apply to you, please follow the instructions below to delete Schedule C:

1. Open or continue your return in TurboTax.
2. In the left menu, select Tax Tools and then Tools.
3. In the pop-up window Tool Center, choose Delete a form.
4. Select Delete next to Schedule C
