I have TTax Home and Business but need to add single member LLC...do I need to update to TTax business

No, you do not need to "upgrade" to TurboTax Business unless your LLC has made an election to be treated as an S corporation for federal income tax purposes.

 

Otherwise, TurboTax Home & Business is all you need for your single-member LLC.
