I have a question last year I purchased a new furnace due to it breaking, can I add it?

You can't deduct the cost of a new furnace. You may be able to get an energy saving credit for the furnace if you have not already claimed your limit of energy saving improvement credits since 2006. Too enter it, use the search function. Type energy improvement in the search box and click on jump to energy improvement.
