I had an LP capital gain. I also have carryforward losses. I entered the gain and the losses did not show up to offset the gain. Is the program not finished yet?

if entered on line 8 of k-1 (ST) the gain should appear on line 5 of schedule D. if line 9a  (LT) then the gain should show up on line 12 of schedule D. 

carryforward losses come from  the carryover worksheet lines 12a,b and 13a,b
