I am truck driver owner operator i have 1099 do i list as business

i have no employer id number, i do have federal identification number

Yes, you would report your income as business income in Turbo Tax. Enter the 1099 you received in the Business Income section.

You can also enter any expenses you have that relate to the production of your income.

• Select the Business Tab
• Select Continue on the Let’s Find Some Business Expenses screen
• Select Walk me through everything at How do you want to enter your business income.
• Select Start or Update at Business Income and Expenses

Let the program take you through each category in the Business tab so that you are sure to include all of the items that are relevant to your tax return.
