I am required to file form 195(b)(1) to amortize startup costs. It is a simple dog setting business and has no startup cost. How do I fix the return?

If you do not wish to make the election to amortize startup costs (195(b)(1), you can remove the form. 

• Select Tax Tools, Tools, Delete a form
• Scroll list for the form (Election to Amortize Startup Costs)
• Delete the form

Note: Once a form is deleted it is gone for good.
