I am filing with TurboTax Self employment. How can I add an additional Schedule C? I need to file 2 separate schedule C's (Was advised by IRS to file this way)

We have 2 sole-proprietorships under 1 EIN. (1 EIN - 2 DBAs) I the IRS said to file each DBA on a separate schedule C. I can't figure out how to add another. It just keeps wanting to edit the 1st schedule C I already have in there.

You can use these steps to get to where you'll select the option to add another Schedule C

  • Log into account and click Take me to my return
  • Type schedule c in the Search box in top right and hit enter
  • Click on jump to schedule c
  • On the Your 2017 self-employed work summary screen, click Add another line of work
  • Then start entering the information for that second business

That will generate a separate Schedule C for you.
