The amount on line 9 of Schedule A is the amount of investment interest allowed on Form 4952. Your deduction may have been limited on Form 4952.

If you entered your interest directly, this is how you edit it:

  1. Select Federal from the left side menu.
  2. Select Deductions and Credits toward the upper left.
  3. Expand the list and scroll down to Retirement and Investments.
  4. Expand the section and click Start or Revisit to the right of Investment Interest Expenses.
  5. Answer the first question Yes.
  6. If you entered your information directly, it will show on the next screen and you can edit it there.

If you have K-1 forms for investments, some of your investment interest may have flowed form them.

Thanks Julie,

However, this does not get me to the right place.

There were no values entered in this section. It appears to be the wrong area.

I specifically need to edit the values in Turbo Tax that populate Form 2210, Part II, Line D "Tax Withheld Smart Worksheet".

This area is not showing all 4 column values and in some cases is not showing the correct value i originally entered.

I appreciate any direction you or others can provide in order to correct.

Form 2210 Part II Line D is populated from your entries for the Estimated Tax Payments section of TurboTax. You may wish to review this section if Form 2210 doesn't reflect your tax situation.

In TurboTax Online, open your return and go to Deductions & Credits >> Estimates and Other Taxes Paid >> Estimated Tax Payments. Click Revisit then choose Federal estimated taxes for 2021 to review your entries.
