How to add exempt interest on Kentucky schedule M on line 8 as a subtraction from federal adjusted gross income?

Everything on your state return is populated from your Federal Return data.  Here is how to add your tax exempt interest income to your TurboTax:

1. While in your Tax Home,
2. Select Search from the top right side of your screen,
3. Enter 1099-INT,
4. Select Jump to 1099-INT,
5. Select Review next to your 1099-INT,
6. Select my form has info in other boxes,

 

    7.  Enter your tax exempt interest in Box 8.
