The IRS is no longer sending out the first two stimulus checks. You'll have to file a 2020 income tax return to get the money—even if you usually don't file a tax return.
The amounts will be added to your tax refund as a Recovery Rebate Credit. You'll see the amount on line 30 of Form 1040.
To fill out your stimulus information:
- Type stimulus in Search in the upper right
- Click jump to stimulus
- Say NO to It looks like you qualified for the stimulus, did you get any payments?
- Enter the actual payment amounts you received ($0 and $0).
