If you have not filed a 2019 tax return and you are not required to file a tax return and you do not receive Social Security benefits, then use this TurboTax website to register for the stimulus - https://turbotax.intuit.com/stimulus-check/

If you have filed a 2019 tax return and need to change or add your direct deposit information, see this IRS website - https://www.irs.gov/newsroom/economic-impact-payments-what-you-need-to-know
The IRS does not have my direct deposit information. What can I do?
In the coming weeks, Treasury plans to develop a web-based portal for individuals to provide their banking information to the IRS online, so that individuals can receive payments immediately as opposed to checks in the mail.

If you receive Social Security benefits, see this US Treasury website - https://home.treasury.gov/news/press-releases/sm967

Select https://turbotax.intuit.com/stimulus-check/ link to stimulus registration (SR).  It is very important that you use the option that says register now if you don't need to file taxes this year.  Otherwise, you will not be able to E-file a zero return and delay the recording of your direct deposit information. It also has the calculator.

This TurboTax website will let you register if you don't need to file: CORONAVIRUS TAX CENTER: 2020 STIMULUS

Just select: If you don’t need to file your taxes this year

Once a tax return has been filed and accepted the method or means to receive a tax refund cannot be changed.

If you have filed a 2019 tax return and need to change or add your direct deposit information, see this IRS website - https://www.irs.gov/newsroom/economic-impact-payments-what-you-need-to-know

The X'd out routing and account numbers are for security purposes.  The IRS received your bank information.

No further action is needed by taxpayers who filed tax returns in 2018 and 2019 and most seniors and retirees. If you don’t file taxes, use the "Non-Filers application to provide simple information so you can get your payment.

This is a public web site that can be seen by anyone using the internet including scammers and identity thieves who would love to contact you and pretend to be from TurboTax.  Please return to your post and click those three little blue dots on the upper right so that you can edit out your personal information ASAP.

The IRS can look at your 2018 or 2019 return to issue a stimulus check.  If they do not have a 2018 return then you may be waiting for them to finish processing 2019 before they will be able to use it to issue your stimulus check.

If you used the non-filer site, you will not be able to e-file a 2019 return after using the non-filer site.

TurboTax has no control over your stimulus check, nor can TT track it for you or tell you when the IRS will issue it. Refer to the sites linked below:

You can call the IRS hotline at 1-800-919-9835 to get updates on your stimulus payment.
