Schedule R is the Credit for the Elderly or Disabled. Not many people qualify for it.
To enter your information in TurboTax:
- Login to your TurboTax online account
- Click Take me to my return or pick up where I left off
- Click the Federal tab (on the left hand side bar)
- Then click Deductions & Credits (at the top)
- Scroll down to the Other Deductions and Credits section and click on the Start next to Elderly or Disabled Credit.
- Continue through the screens, entering the requested information. TurboTax will determine if you meet the criteria for the credit.
