How do i enter income that was money from investors into a new business?

I started a new business and received $8000 from investors as well as put in 1000 of my own money to get it started and I don't know how to enter that

That is not taxable income so it wouldn't be reported on a tax return, except to the extent you need to enter a balance sheet. If you need to enter a balance sheet, it would be entered in the equity section, as partner's capital account, common stock, paid in capital or something similar.
