How do I enter expenses for my consulting business? I have 2 choices: I have no expenses or Upgrade for lots of money. I just want to enter the amounts. Please help!

You have to Upgrade and us Schedule C. Cost of upgrade is trivial compared to potential tax impact. Schedule C Form/instructions from IRS:  https://www.irs.gov/forms-pubs/about-schedule-c-form-1040
