How do I delete attached form 8453-PE in Turbotax Business 2018?

"How do I delete attached form 8453-PE in Turbotax Business 2018?"

Go back through the E-file section and click the Yes button to attach a new form and remove the old one (see screenshot).

It deletes the old one but leaves the date in the new one.  How can I delete it all and get a new one where I can fill in todays date if I am submitted the return today.

this is for Turbo Tax Business 2024

Go to Forms View (Ctrl+2) and open Form 8453-PE. The date field will accept manual input.

No it won't let me delete or overtype the date.  I can change the date in Information Wks for Signature date, but it doesn't change in the 8453-PE form that gets generated when you delete the previous version.  It is still stuck on 03/09/2025 the date I put in there last month and now want to change. 

You can delete a form in TurboTax Desktop by using forms mode.  To delete follow these steps:

1. Open TurboTax
2. Click Forms in the upper right corner
3. Click Form 8453-PE
4. Click Delete Form on the bottom of the screen
5. Confirm to delete
6. You should now be able to reenter the form and enter the correct date
