To delete information from Box 20 of a K-1, please follow these steps:

  1. Click on Federal > Wages & Income
  2. In the S-Corps, Partnerships, and Trusts section click on the box next to Schedule K-1.
  3. Click Yes on the next screen, Did you receive any Schedules K-1?
  4. On the Tell Us About Your Schedules K-1 screen.  Click on the Start/Update box next to Partnerships/LLC (Form 1065)
  5. If you have already entered K-1 information, you will see a Summary screen.  Click Edit next to  the K-1 you want to change.
  6. Continue to the screen, Check Boxes That Have an Amount.  If you want to delete all information on box 20, unmark the box.
  7. If you want to modify Box 20, leave it marked and click Continue.
  8. On the next screen, Enter Box 20 Info, you can make your changes.
  9. If you want to delete an entry, delete the amount and select the blank line at the top of the list in the Enter Code box.  Click Continue

Worked down the info list provided. Unchecked box 20 and clicked on continue… same info was on next page, went back to previous page and box 20 was again checked. Tried numerous times, same result. Also, there is no blank  line in the enter code  box.

In TurboTax Self-Employed,

  • At the screen Check boxes that have an amount, I was able to unclick box 20
  • Click Continue.
  • At the screen Enter Box 20 info, I deleted the amount and removed the code by selecting the 'blank' option immediately above Code A.
  • Click Continue.

I was able to go back to find Box 20 unchecked.

The So Called "Blank " option above "A"   is a Blank SPACE ,  It does not say "Blank" or None , it is just an empty space you click  above t"A" in the drop down box  ( at the top of the drop down box )   wasted 45 minutes .  Why don't the just have "none" as the option or "delete"  rather than a "empty space?  Very poor Programing!!!
