Questions regarding Form 568 appear during California state tax interview.

Go to the State Tax tab. Follow the interview and look for two screens relating to Form 568: California requires that you e-file Form 568 and Creating Form 568

Specifically:

  • As you go through the CA state Income section, click Revisit beside the Business Profit or Loss Adjustment.
  • Click Edit beside your business name.
  • Click Done on the Asset Summary page.
  • On the next page that asks if your business is owned by a Single Member LLC, click Yes.
  • Click Continue on the next page.

The next screens ask you to fill in details for Form 568. The first screen should be the only one with missing information. Scroll down the page until you see fields that are highlighted which need your input (they are pink on Windows versions of the program).
