Has anyone noticed that I'm told I have to upgrade to Premium to file schedule D but the help information says schedule D is supported by Deluxe?

Your post indicates you are using the TurboTax Deluxe online edition.

The Deluxe online edition does not support a Schedule D.

Go to this website for the Deluxe online edition and scroll down then click on Tax Forms - https://turbotax.intuit.com/personal-taxes/online/deluxe.jsp#tax-forms

The TurboTax desktop CD/Download editions all support a Schedule D - https://turbotax.intuit.com/personal-taxes/cd-download/
