The Form 1120-S is available.

You have to use the TurboTax Business Edition to complete and file a S Corporation tax return.

Go to this TurboTax website for the Business Edition - https://turbotax.intuit.com/small-business-taxes/cd-download/

The Business Edition can only be installed on a Windows based personal computer.  The edition cannot be used to complete a personal tax return, Form 1040.

I use Turbotax live and have been adding information into the 1120-S forms for my personal taxes in that program for the past 5 years. The 1120-S forms are not available. It says "should be ready soon"

If you are using the Business Edition, have you updated your software.

Since I do not personally use the Business Edition, this would be the procedure to update the TurboTax desktop personal editions - Click on Online at the top of the desktop program screen.  Click on Check for Updates

Checking the TurboTax website for forms availability under Windows 1120 S S-Corporate and U.S.-Federal shows all instances of a 1120S as being available - https://form-status.app.intuit.com/tax-forms-availability/formsavailability?albRedirect=true&product=Turbotax_online&bu=cg

As I said, I am using Turbotax Live as I have used for the past 5 years.  It is not a "desktop" program. There is no "check updates" area. Everything in their live system is supposed to be current. When I try to enter my information in the 1120-S category it says "not available". Turbotax should be ready by now. Frustrating.

All the TurboTax online editions, Including Live, do not support completing a Form 1120-S.

However, if you are referring to a Schedule K-1 (Form 1120S) that is only supported in the online editions of either Premium or Premium Live.

As shown on this TurboTax website the Schedule K-1 (Form 1120S) will be available on 02/21/2024 - https://form-status.app.intuit.com/tax-forms-availability/formsavailability?albRedirect=true&product=Turbotax_online&bu=cg

Did you ever get the 1120s figured out? I’ve done the 1120s online last year on TurboTax business Online. No issues. This year I login and there’s no previous tax return. I wanted to import the last years balance sheet info and all the basic stuff. But, it’s not there. I talked 2 different people and they said that last years 1120s is gone unless I saved it on my laptop or printed it which I did. But as I’m doing 2024, clearly there’s a column as you go along that says 2023 that would have last years numbers and information for comparison. Am I missing something?

Are you logged in using the same credentials used to prepare your prior year returns?

Schedule M1 and M2 are below Schedule L which is on page 4 of your Form 1120-S. It is below Schedule L which lists the balance sheet. You can find it in the list of forms on Form 1120-S p3-5.
