Email 1099-NEC recipeints

After going through the steps in TurboTax to create and e-file the 1099-NECs for my business, I was trying to determine if the PDF/form would be mailed/emailed to the recipient? If not, do I have to download each one individually and then email them or mail them myself to the recipient?

I have 30-50 to do so having it done automatically would be great! And since one of the required fields in the online submission form is the recipients' email address, I'm hoping that's done automatically.

You  cannot e-mail the forms in Quick Employer Forms.

Sorry you will have to print and mail the 1099 to the recipients.

It says……
Quick Employer Forms no longer offers that service. We apologize for any inconvenience. Use the PDF button next to each form to print the recipient copies and mail copies to recipients by January 31. This due date is extended to February 15, for 1099-MISC with amounts reported in box 8 or 10.

I didn't see that option Thomas. Do you have a screen shot?

@ThomasM125 I didn't see an option to E-Mail, only to E-File. Could you provide a screen print or the path to get to the E-Mail?

Thanks!!

Thanks all :(

So I have a question then: Why is the recipients email a required field when filling out the form? Is that just for Intuit to farm their data?

So how do we make a software change request to email them? After all, as mentioned, the recipients' email is a required field. I could write the code to allow the user to put in their mail server - or just have a db of them based on the @xxx.xxx. Then request the login password from the sender and viola!

I don't know about if you can email.  That might be new.   I only know what the FAQ says about printing them.
