Did Turbotax business file my S-Corp in MN?

I filed my 100% owned MN S-Corporation return and it said it is e-filed federally.

Do I have to do something additional for the Minnesota filing? There is no tax or minimum fee due for MN on my return.

There are some states that TurboTax is not set up to file electronic business returns.  Therefore, if your filing status only shows the federal being e-filed, then your Minnesota S Corp return needs to be printed and mailed.  Even if there is not any tax or fee due, the return is still required to be sent to the state.

This same issue exists for filing 2019 taxes. Can't file MN electronically. I could have easily filled out the M8 myself instead of paying the additional $60 state fee. Not a good value TurboTax. Very disappointed this year considering the Qualified Business Income deduction wasn't in the Premier individual software until two weeks ago-and that was a tax law in 2018. Not like it was a new concept. Time to step it up TT.
