Yes, you can delete Form 8995 if it is no longer needed on your return.

To delete the form, please follow these steps:

  1. Open your tax return.
  2. Click on Tools.
  3. Click on Delete a Form
  4. Scroll down to your state forms and look for Form 8995 and click Delete

Form 8995 will be created if you have section 199A dividends in box 5 of your 1099-DIV.  These dividends are qualified business income, and the form will automatically be re-created every time you delete it.  (I had $4 of box 5 dividends, and form 8995 gave me a $1 QBI deduction.💰)

If you want to remove this form, you will have to manually edit your 1099-DIV to zero out the box 5 dividends.  As best I can tell, the amount in box 5 is already included in the reportable dividends in box 1, so you aren't avoiding any tax by clearing box 5.
