If I understand correctly, you are telling me that there is no way to create a back-up of a partially completed 2016 tax return. Even though I have your disc in hand, I am stuck. If my computer fails, I need to start from scratch on another computer. I cannot make a back-up of my partial return and put that on another computer? Or simultaneously work on two computers for the same return - example a desk-top and a lap top that I travel with.
If that is your policy, I advise that you change it. It makes no sense and I have been using your product since it came out.
Please advise. lwulker@fuse.net
s far as I know you should be able to copy the Turbo Tax Document in a flash drive. Naturally you will not be able to open it unless you open it in a computer were you have the 2016 Turbo Tax software installed.
Hope this helps
That's the problem. I do not see any way to copy a 2016 return that I am working on to a flash drive. How do you do it?
Not sure what kind of computer you are using, but I have a window computer (not an Apple) and I just right click on the file in my hard drive and copied and past it in the flash drive, no problem.
