Will TurboTax Premier 2021 automatically pick up my 2020 amendment changes when I amend it? Note that I didn't have to officially file the 2020 amendment.

I received a form 8986 for 2020 and 2021 affecting the same investment (K-1 from same company). When I went to make changes in 2021, it was still showing the original (unamended amount) for 2020. Why isn't it picking up the amended income amount?
