Will I receive my federal refund today (2/21/2025) since I signed up to receive my refund 5 days early? I have a refund issued for 2/26/2025.

We're not sure.  The up to 5 day early date is based on the date given to you on the IRS website.

• You will not be eligible to receive your refund up to 5 Days Early if

1. you take a Refund Advance loan,
2. IRS delays payment of your refund, or
3. your bank’s policies do not allow for same-day payment processing.

• The up to 5 Days Early fee will be deducted directly from your refund prior to being deposited to your bank account.
• If your refund cannot be delivered up to 5 Days Early, you will not be charged the up to 5 Days Early fee. The up to 5 Days Early program may change or be discontinued at any time.

If your federal refund is deposited into your selected bank account up to 1 day before the IRS refund settlement date (the date it would have arrived if sent from the IRS directly), then you will not pay the up to 5 Days Early fee. See Terms of Service for more details.

I have a refund date of 2/26/2025 on my tax transcript. Would TurboTax have that information? When I look on my TurboTax account it still says I signed up to get my refund 5 days early and it shows there will be a $25 fee taken out.

You should get an email from TurboTax when your refund is on its way. Some didn't get an email until late in the day, but still got their deposit.

Same here with the same question you have about 5 days early and ,I have yet to receive an email from TT nor have I received my dd.

I have an update! My refund issue date was 2/26/2025 and I received my refund today (2/21/2025) with the 5 days early that TurboTax does. I received my refund today (2/21/2025) at 5pm due to my bank, Wells Fargo.

Im part of the PATH Act….TT gave me an est. DDD of 2/20. My transcript updated with code 846 issue date 2/26/25. I received my refund about an hour ago (6pm CST). My status never changed on TT or WMR and I didn’t receive a text or email saying my deposit posted. The money was just there. 

I finally got my ddd for 02/26/2025

Welp! My refund just posted!! TT promised a 5 day early delivery and they delivered 5 days early. 846 refund issued 2/26/25 on transcript. WMR never updated. See you guys next year TT. ✌️

I’m curious, did you opt to get your refund 5 days early? I did the loan advance so I didn’t qualify, but my refund issued date on transcript says 2/26/25 and I am praying that date isn’t set in stone and my return will pop up any time.

I did not do 5 days early nor did I do a loan( wish I did) anyways mine does say ddd 02262025. I have wellsfargo and nothing so far

Good morning, yes I paid the $25.00 to get my refund 5 days early. My transcript said 2/26 refund issued, so I got dd last night on 2/ 21 like 10 pm

Wells Fargo already does early deposit.

Have you checked the IRS "IRS Where's My Refund Site?  That's the best place to confirm if the IRS has sent your refund.  

Did you recieve you refund today. Mine said the 26th and I have not gotten it yet?

My refund is suppose to be deposited today too 2/26/25 and it’s not in my account either. I bank with BOFA 

my federal refund was supposed to be today. I still haven’t received nothing in my account….. insane. I paid for the five days early. TT refunded me. I got an email from TT saying it will be deposited tomorrow (refund). Irs website dates today 2-26-25. Never had this happen before….
