Why isn’t my state refund showing in my total 2019 refund?

It should be reflected on your TurboTax screen. If not and you haven't filed your return yet, you can go to the state return section in your program and choose the "Tax Tools" option on your left menu bar, then choose "Tools" and then "View Tax Summary". This will bring up a summary of your state tax return and you will see the refund amount listed towards the bottom of the page.

It is also possible that you have not yet completed the state tax section in TurboTax, in which case you need to use the "State" option on your left menu bar to complete your state tax return.

What if it isn’t giving me an option to finish anything. My refund is showing on my return, but not on the app. Why is that?

To verify you filed, sign into TurboTax Online and check your e-file status.  If you see a status there (i.e. pending or accepted), then you successfully filed your return.

I can't say for certain why your refund is not showing in the TurboTax app. You can try closing out the app and reopening to see if your refund populates.  Also, restarting your phone may correct the issue.  If neither of these work, try uninstalling and reinstalling the app.
